Yes, our plans are ready for submission to your local (Ontario) township. If your township requires markups or has any deficiencies regarding the construction details on our plans we will work with you to ensure you receive your building permit.

As per Ontario Building Code, floating slab foundations do not require engineering if the building area is less than or equal to 55 m² (592 ft²). If your building is larger than this, has a second storey, or stone/brick, engineering is required. We have engineers we work closely with and are happy to co-ordinate this. Typical engineering fee for a floating slab is an additional $300+HST, but may vary depending on the complexity of the building.
